Refund Policy
Image Describer X refund policy detailing our rules for subscription refunds, credit purchase refunds, and application procedures.

Image Describer X ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to providing a fair and transparent service experience. To protect your rights, we have established the following detailed refund policy. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.
1. Refundable Circumstances
1.1 Subscription Services (Monthly / Annual)
- 5-Day No-Questions-Asked Refund: First-time subscribers (accounts with no prior paid subscription history) may request a refund within 120 hours of purchase, provided that credits used do not exceed 10% of the monthly-equivalent quota.
- Monthly-equivalent quota = Total subscription credits ÷ Number of months (Monthly = 1, Quarterly = 3, Semi-annual = 6, Annual = 12)
- Example: Monthly plan with 600 credits → 60-credit threshold; Annual plan with 7,200 credits → 600 monthly-equivalent → 60-credit threshold
- Technical Failures: If a platform technical issue causes continuous service disruption for more than 24 hours, you may request a pro-rated refund for the unused days, or opt for an equivalent extension of your subscription period (recommended).
- Duplicate Charges: If we verify that duplicate charges occurred due to a system error, we will automatically refund the excess within 3 business days.
- Service Not Delivered: Cases where we are entirely unable to provide the service due to platform-side reasons.
1.2 Credit Purchases (Pay-As-You-Go)
- Unused Credits: You may request a full refund within 24 hours of purchase, provided that the credits are completely unused.
- Incorrect Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the wrong credit package, you may request an exchange or refund within 24 hours, provided the credits are unused.
2. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Given the nature of digital products, the following circumstances are not eligible for refunds:
- Exceeded Refund Threshold: Subscribers whose credit usage exceeds the threshold specified in Section 1.1 (10% of the monthly-equivalent quota).
- Consumed Credits: Credit packages that have been partially or fully used.
- Expired Requests: No-questions-asked refund requests submitted more than 120 hours after subscription (you may cancel auto-renewal; service will continue until the end of the billing cycle).
- Policy Violations: Accounts terminated for violating our Terms of Service (e.g., generating illegal content, malicious account sharing).
- Special Items: Items explicitly marked as "non-refundable" during promotional or special-price events.
- Promotional Orders: Subscriptions purchased with promo codes, coupons, referral rewards, or other discounts.
- Non-First-Time Subscriptions: Renewals, upgrades, or any subscription other than your first paid subscription.
- Subjective Dissatisfaction: Dissatisfaction with generated results due to personal aesthetic preferences (we recommend trying our free tier first).
- Repeat Claims: Each user is limited to 1 no-questions-asked refund per calendar year.
3. Refund Process
If you meet the above refund conditions, please follow this process:
- Application Deadlines:

- Technical failures: Within 30 days after the issue is resolved
- Duplicate charges: Any time after discovery

- Refund Amount: Refunds will be issued minus payment processor fees (approximately 3%, charged by third-party payment platforms and not retained by us). Subscriptions purchased via Apple App Store, Google Play, or similar platforms may incur fees of up to 30%.
- Review Time: Applications will be reviewed within 5 business days of receipt
- Processing Time: After approval, the payment will be returned to your payment account within 3-5 working days.
- Refund Effects: Upon successful refund, remaining account credits will be cleared and subscription benefits will be terminated.
4. Subscription Cancellation
- Cancel Anytime: You may cancel auto-renewal at any time in your account settings.
- Retained Access: After cancellation, no refund will be issued for the current billing period, but you may continue to enjoy the service until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Recommended Timing: To avoid unintended charges due to time zone differences or processing delays, we recommend canceling at least 3 days before your renewal date.
5. Special Provisions
- Actual Payment Only: Refunds are limited to the amount you actually paid. Bonus credits, coupons, and other complimentary benefits are non-refundable.
- Annual Plans: Annual plans that do not meet the Section 1.1 no-questions-asked refund criteria are generally non-refundable during the subscription period. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time, and service will continue until the end of the subscription cycle.
- Enterprise Services: For enterprise users, API users, or large-volume top-ups, please contact our business team directly to negotiate specific service agreements.
- Anti-Fraud: We reserve the right to deny refunds and suspend associated accounts in cases of bulk registration for refund abuse, multi-account exploitation of promotions, or other malicious refund behavior.
6. Dispute Resolution

7. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify this policy at any time. Updated policies will be published on this page and take effect immediately, but will not apply retroactively to completed transactions. Image Describer X reserves the final right of interpretation of this policy.
8. Jurisdiction-Specific Rights
Users residing in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws may be entitled to additional refund rights (such as the EU 14-day withdrawal right) that supersede the above terms. Where local law provides greater protection, local law shall prevail.
